Welcome! I’m Jonathan Reynard Kristono, a passionate pianist, guitarist, songwriter, and music educator, currently based in Melbourne. My journey in music began in Surabaya, Indonesia, where I’ve spent over 15 years honing my skills in classical piano, composition, and performance. From winning international piano competitions to sharing original music online, my love for music drives every part of my life.

My Journey

I first discovered my love for music at the age of 4 when I began practicing classical piano. This early start set the foundation for my deep connection to music. By age 7, I expanded my skills to include the electone, mastering improvisation and sight-reading, which added versatility to my musical abilities. During the pandemic, I embraced fingerstyle guitar, exploring new genres and expressions in music and sharing this journey with my audience on YouTube and Instagram.

On my YouTube channel, you’ll find a mix of piano and guitar covers, along with my own compositions and arrangements. Through these videos, I aim to connect with music lovers worldwide, sharing my passion and creativity with a growing community.

Professional Experience

Beyond my online music journey, I have had the privilege of performing with TRUST Orchestra in Jakarta, adapting to complex compositions and enhancing live performances with my versatile piano skills. My teaching roles at Nitya Music Academy and Ravel Music Center allowed me to share my love for music with students of all levels, fostering their growth through structured, theory-rich lessons.
